I have a profound interest in cultural and academic exchanges worldwide. To that end, I've participated in projects that facilitate the sharing of experiences and knowledge with communities from various countries. These engagements have not only been enlightening about diverse cultures but have also significantly enhanced both my personal and professional skills.
I am a co-founder of COMPASS, a nonprofit academic initiative that promotes the exchange of agricultural knowledge in Colombia. Through workshops, webinars, and seminars, we strive to advance science and education within Colombian universities.
I was involved in a project funded by the Global Hunger and Food Security Initiative aimed at increasing dry bean yield production in Africa. My role centered on providing support and training on genomic selection to breeders from Africa.
I collaborated with the Residential College in the Arts and Humanities at MSU to foster cultural exchanges between undergraduate students from MSU and communities in Costa Rica.
